We met Shakespeare, Fredrik Schiller, Daniel Defoe, Sir Walter Scott, Victor Hugo, Alexandre Dumas, Thomas Moore, Charles Perrault, Hans Christan Anderson, Brothers Grimm, and Kate Greenaway, just to name a few.
