2025 TSBS Awards submission due February 15, 2024

Why do we need to submit an award a year ahead?” – It is time to submit competition awards for the 2025 TSBS Awards. We gather the awards ahead of time so that we can receive a list of awards when we arrive at the 2024 TSBS Spring Show & Sale. That allows members to learn and prepare for the coming year’s competition. And it allows our button dealers to bring buttons that are on topic.

There are never any awards for the kind of buttons that I am interested ”   – You need to write that award!

I have never submitted an award before…”   – Ask a member of your club or any of the officers of the society to help you. Our award chair, Karen Perry, is always willing to help you to get the wording just right.

Has my club written awards to submit?”  – Perhaps you can.

TSBS Annual Spring Show

  • Competition tray displays: Awards competition offers opportunities for members to compete using their collections, knowledge and ingenuity. Specific themes for the competitions are designed and sponsored by TSBS clubs and members following guidelines from the National Button Society “Blue Book”. The competition tray displays are an amazing way to be inspired by members’ collections and creativity.
  • Educational display:  This is a special and informative way to appreciate the forgotten beauty and history of buttons, supported by TSBS members.
  • Button market: A unique opportunity to see, buy or sell buttons of all kinds, many costing from just a few cents and some as much as a few hundred dollars. The thousands of buttons offered are of incredible variety and never cease to surprise and amaze.
  • Silent auction: Make bids on your favorite donated items!  All proceeds help sustain our non-profit society.
  • Educational program: This presentation is always a highlight of the show.
  • Kid’s activities: Our junior activity officer hosts a fun crafting event for the younger members and visitors.
  • Favor button: Our Spring Show offers a special button designed and made to a specific theme by a studio artist as a souvenir of the show.
